Job Title: Automation Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled automation tester to join our team. As an automation tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Job Description:

The automation tester will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Shell.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain test data and object repositories.
  • Perform testing and debugging of automated test scripts.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java, Python, or Shell.
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, including writing shell scripts and using Unix command-line tools.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
