Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Release Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the release management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating, and managing releases across the platform for multiple applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Release Management:
  • Plan and manage release schedules to ensure timely and smooth delivery of software releases.
  • Coordinate release activities across various teams, including development, testing, and operations.
  • Monitor and track release progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Ensure all release processes and procedures are followed and documented.
  • Coordinate with onshore release managers to ensure alignment and seamless integration of release activities across different time zones and regions.
  • Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity when working with onshore teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proven experience in release management and agile methodologies.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with release management tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
