We are looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of Assistant Manager in Accounts Receivable.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Order to Cash (O2C) process including billing, collections, and dispute resolution. This involves ensuring accurate and timely invoicing as per Service Level Agreements, with all supporting documentation readily available.
  • Review client contracts to prevent any discrepancies in invoicing and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues such as billing errors, late payments, and AR reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via email and phone for collection of overdue payments, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Record customer feedback and facilitate prompt resolution, addressing concerns and implementing necessary changes to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Tax) for timely issue resolution, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure achievement of team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and individual deliverables, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
  • Monitor and manage collections in line with contract Turnaround Times (TATs), maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Generate accurate and timely reports for collections, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Raise payment release requests to Treasury for salary disbursements to associates, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct client visits as required, building strong relationships and gathering valuable feedback to enhance the service offering.
  • Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to management, taking proactive steps to mitigate potential risks and protect the organization's interests.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and best practices, embracing innovation and change to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, providing stakeholders with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications Required
  • A Graduate degree in Commerce is essential, with a Master's degree in Finance being a desirable asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is required, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and problem-solving.
