Oracle HCM Consultant

We seek a seasoned professional to support the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the Benefits module in Oracle Fusion HCM. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between HR business needs and technical capabilities.

The selected resource will work full-time on the HR POD, attending daily stand-up calls and delivering stories within the sprint.

This individual will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure all requirements and designs align with the IEEE framework, provide UAT support, and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modify and configure Benefits plans, programs, rates, and eligibility profiles.
  • Support Open Enrollment and Life Event processing.
  • Develop and troubleshoot Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, and HDL data loads.
  • Build and maintain BI Publisher reports and OTBI dashboards.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to ensure accurate data flow and compliance.
  • Manage SRs and coordinate with Oracle support for issue resolution.
  • Conduct functional and regression testing during upgrades and deployments.
  • Document configurations, processes, and change requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least 3 in Benefits.
  • Understanding of Benefits setup, eligibility rules, and enrollment flows.
  • Proficiency in building/modifying Extracts, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OTBI, HDL, and Fast Formulas.
  • Experience with HCM Extracts and third-party integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM) or Agile practices.
