Job Overview:
The Logistics Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and streamlining our logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of our products and projects. This includes planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics activities such as warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Logistics Strategies: Create and implement strategies to optimize product distribution, ensuring timely deliveries and minimizing costs.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee warehouse operations, manage transportation and supply chain activities, and ensure high efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with vendors, transporters, and third-party logistics providers to guarantee seamless operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock movement, and plan replenishment in coordination with the team.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage the logistics budget, ensuring operations are executed within financial targets.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all logistics regulations, including transportation laws, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes, implementing best practices for quality control, safety, and operational efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in managing warehousing, transportation, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results and collaboration.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with logistics in the aerospace or education sectors is a plus.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
