We are seeking a skilled Public Relations Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communication strategies to enhance brand presence.
  • Manage print, digital, social, and website media to increase brand awareness.
  • Create engaging content using Canva and Photoshop to drive customer engagement.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases to relevant media outlets to gain media coverage.
  • Manage and grow the company's presence on other social media platforms to increase reach.
  • Coordinate with print media for coverage and advertisements to maximize impact.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities to track progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Handle crisis communication to protect the company's reputation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and communication is required.
  • A postgraduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Photoshop is essential.
  • A strong understanding of print, digital, social, and website media is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Experience in handling press releases, on print & digital media is a must.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools can be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills can help in making informed decisions.
