Our company is seeking a Footwear Design Assistant to join our team in Chennai. As a key member of our footwear department, you will be responsible for assisting the design team in developing footwear concepts, sketches, and mood boards.

Responsibilities:

  • Research global and local fashion/footwear trends, consumer insights, and competitor products.
  • Support product development with sampling, material selection, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers for sample follow-ups.
  • Help prepare presentations, range plans, and product catalogs.
  • Maintain documentation of product details, costing sheets, and style references.
  • Assist in photoshoots, merchandising displays, and social media/product content when required.
  • Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the footwear department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Design, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of footwear design principles and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
