Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fintech Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play an essential role in managing and streamlining operational processes across our fintech platforms, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.

This role requires strong multitasking abilities and meticulous attention to detail to support transaction processing, client onboarding, reconciliation, and operational reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, monitoring for potential issues or opportunities to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of daily operations, including monitoring for potential issues or opportunities to enhance user experience and operational efficiency
  • Proactive identification and resolution of discrepancies in transaction data or service performance
  • Performance of the "Maker" function for client withdrawal requests, maintaining transaction records with a high degree of accuracy and ensuring all data files are up to date
  • Management and support of the daily T+1 reconciliation process, investigating and resolving any issues related to transactions and balances to maintain accurate financial records
  • Coordination with the Customer Relations team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during client onboarding, handling account setup and documentation accurately
  • Maintenance and regular update of client onboarding documentation in the database, ensuring completeness and compliance in all records
  • Generation of Management Information System (MIS) reports on operational expenses related to client transactions, contributing insights for cost management and process improvement
  • Support to senior management in developing and refining reports related to crypto and fiat management, focusing on effective liquidity management and asset tracking
  • Supervision of all aspects of crypto and fiat transaction processing, including trading, settlements, and reconciliation, ensuring timely and accurate execution
  • Collaboration with senior management to set up baseline reporting standards for crypto and fiat transactions, ensuring transparency and efficiency in asset management
  • Liaison with Fund Accounting, Technology, and other business units to align operational activities with overall business goals and optimize processes
  • Collaboration on the implementation of best practices, system updates, and workflow improvements to enhance team performance and service delivery
  • Support to the development and refinement of operational systems and workflows, contributing to projects that enhance process efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Owning and continuously updating process documentation to ensure clear, consistent, and effective operational practices across the team
  • Action as a key point of contact for troubleshooting operational issues, researching problems to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations, or related field; advanced degree or certifications in finance/operations are advantageous
  • 4+ years of experience in B2B operations within the financial services, or wealth management sectors
  • Experience managing crypto and fiat transactions, with knowledge of trading, settlement, and liquidity management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial and transaction record-keeping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
  • Proficiency with operations platforms, reconciliation tools, and data management systems
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in MS-Office particularly -MS Excel
