Backend Development Lead

We are seeking a skilled Backend Development Lead to lead the backend development of AI-powered applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable backend services for AI-driven applications using Python.
  • Develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI and robust validation using Pydantic.
  • Implement ORM and migrations using SQLAlchemy and Alembic, ensuring efficient database management.
  • Integrate task queues using Celery and background processing effectively, enhancing application scalability.
  • Build and optimize database systems, including MySQL and PostgreSQL, to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into backend systems to support conversational AI capabilities.
  • Utilize AI/NLP libraries such as NLTK and scikit-learn in production-level applications, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Implement containerization using Docker and maintain version control with Git, ensuring smooth deployments.
  • Contribute to and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless and reliable deployments.
Requirements:
  • 5–6 years of experience in Python backend development, with a strong focus on architecture design and implementation.
  • Proven expertise in designing backend architectures from scratch for real-time or intelligent systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Strong knowledge of FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Celery, and LLM-specific libraries, enabling effective application development.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL, along with database design best practices, ensuring data consistency and performance.
  • Familiarity with containerization using Docker and basic knowledge of CI/CD tools and Git workflows, facilitating efficient deployments.
  • Experience deploying and integrating LLM-powered applications into production, driving business growth and innovation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in multi-tenant or multi-service application design, allowing for flexible and scalable solutions.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, enabling seamless deployment and management.
