Job Overview

We seek an experienced system administrator to ensure the smooth operation of our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration and be able to maintain and manage various systems, servers, and networks to support our technology needs.

  • Monitor and manage servers, networks, and systems for high availability and optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications in a timely manner.
  • Implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats.
  • Regularly update and patch systems to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest security and software enhancements.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels for proper security protocols.
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions that align with business needs.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Plan and perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users addressing their IT-related inquiries and issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud services, and networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and system management.
  • Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and end-users.
