Key Infrastructure Management Position

The organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the management of its infrastructure operations. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing an infrastructure strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute a comprehensive infrastructure plan, including on-premise data centre management and cloud deployments, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Analyze existing infrastructure capabilities and develop strategies to improve or leverage these systems, resulting in enhanced productivity and reduced costs.
  • Negotiate purchases of software, hardware, and IT supplies as approved by senior management, ensuring alignment with the organization's procurement policies.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior management and peers on matters requiring acceptance of alternative approaches, fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability.
  • Manage outsourced teams for daily operations and activities, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex business problems, analyzing situations that require in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and strategic planning.
  • Perform live disaster recovery activities and periodic drills to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime.
  • Possess working knowledge of servers, storage, databases, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and networks, applying this expertise to drive infrastructure optimization and improvement.
  • Implement production incident management and regulatory compliance processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in programming principles and software development.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management for both on-premise data centers and cloud infrastructures, with a proven track record of success in driving infrastructure optimization and improvement.
