Sourcing Strategy Leader

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team of sourcing and supplier quality engineers/managers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that meet business objectives, including cost reduction and service performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

2. Lead and develop a team of sourcing and supplier quality engineers/managers to achieve business objectives.">
3. Develop and implement sourcing strategies that meet business objectives, including cost reduction and service performance improvement.">
4. Identify opportunities for cost savings and improve service performance by leveraging common commodities between India and other PRM sites.">
5. Prioritize projects and assign them to the right procurement team member to drive project completion on time.">
6. Review supplier performance on lead time, service level, and quality performance, and initiate programs or projects to meet/exceed goals and objectives.">
7. Conduct regular business reviews with critical/key suppliers to maintain positive supplier relationships.">
8. Orchestrate supplier training and development to enhance their capabilities.">
9. Implement consistent and sustaining processes within the India site to optimize waste reduction and resource utilization.">
10. Educate team members on the effective use of procurement systems, metrics, and reports.">
11. Formulate long-term strategies by commodity for major commodities in collaboration with Supply Chain Director and Commodity Leaders.">
12. Develop a system to monitor and reduce material costs of key products.">
13. Collaborate with Project Team to achieve Leadtime/On-time/Cost and payment term.">
14. Identify and develop potential candidates for career progression programs.">
15. Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by Supply Chain Director and/or Management.">

Requirements:

• ">
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering.">
• Minimum 10 years of products sourcing experience in Die Casting, Sand Casting, Stamping, Machining, Springs, Investment Castings, Molded Rubber, Custom Molded Plastics, Valves in multinational companies.">
• Proven experience in a managerial capacity in MNC with a consistent track record.">
• Prior people management experience.">
• Excellent negotiation and project management skills.">
• Strong competencies such as Accountability, Committed, Result-Driven, Plans & aligns, Resourcefulness, Builds Effective Teams.">
• Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001 Management Systems, as well as Corporate Safety Management and Occupational Health Management requirements.">
• Good command of English (written/oral) and PC skills such as Excel and PowerPoint.">

Preferred Qualifications:
