Job Title: Electric Vehicle Procurement Specialist

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled procurement specialist to lead the strategic acquisition of electric vehicles and related goods and services.

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify top suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy
  • Design and execute procurement plans that align with company goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of service with suppliers.

Supplier Management

  • Evaluate and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a smooth supply chain.

Contract Management

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Cost Management

  • Analyze and manage procurement costs to ensure value for money.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure procured goods and services meet quality standards and specifications.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in the Indian market.
