Procurement Expert RoleThe Procurement Expert will play a vital role in acquiring and procuring materials, goods, and services required by the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and maintaining high standards of quality and supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Sourcing and Procurement: Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure compliance with company requirements.
- Negotiation and Supplier Management: Engage in negotiations to secure favorable agreements, develop contracts, and establish strong relationships with suppliers.
- Material Procurement: Review and analyze purchase requisitions, source materials, and ensure availability of materials to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Cost Control: Evaluate supplier quotations, propose cost-saving initiatives, and monitor market trends to optimize costs.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Engineer or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Strong ethics and integrity in business dealings.
