Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer & AI Expert. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support downstream analytics and AI applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Scalable Data Pipelines: Create efficient and effective data pipelines that can handle large datasets.
  • Collaborate with ML Engineers: Work closely with machine learning engineers to integrate data solutions into machine learning models and workflows.
  • Deliver Tailored Data Solutions: Understand client data requirements and deliver customized data solutions that meet their needs.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable data across all projects.
  • Optimize Cloud Storage: Manage and optimize data storage solutions in cloud environments.
  • Leverage Databricks: Utilize Databricks for data processing and analytics tasks, enhancing data workflows with its capabilities.
  • Monitor Pipeline Performance: Identify bottlenecks or failures in data pipelines and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement Best Practices: Adhere to industry best practices for data engineering, including documentation, testing, and version control.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Data Engineer: 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Environments: Hands-on experience with Databricks and its ecosystem, familiarity with major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and their data services.
  • Data Warehousing Experience: Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Databases and Tools: Comfortable working with a variety of SQL, NoSQL and graph databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB, knowledge of data integration tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
