Procurement Manager - Coal Sourcing

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the procurement of high-quality coal from Indian mines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Source coal from Indian mines through auctions and suppliers.
  • Evaluate bids in the Indian Coal Auction Process to ensure competitive procurement.
  • Maintain expertise in Indian coal grades, GCV, ASH, and other relevant specifications.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to align procurement with coal quality requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of Indian coal mines, their grades, GCV, ASH, TM, IM, FC, and auction procedures.
  • Strong familiarity with the Indian Coal Auction Process and related regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in negotiating and managing coal procurement contracts.
  • Ability to evaluate coal quality based on technical parameters such as GCV, GAR, ADB, ARB, ASH, and Moisture.
