Procurement Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement specialist to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in application support, preferably in procurement or related systems, and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Support: Provide day-to-day support for procurement modules, including requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, supplier management, and expenses.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and resolve technical and functional issues in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and other teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Access Management: Manage user access, roles, and permissions within procurement systems.
  • Integration Management: Support integration between procurement systems and other enterprise systems, such as ERP.
  • Documentation: Document support procedures, FAQs, and training materials for end-users.
  • Vendor Liaison: Liaise with vendors for issue resolution and product updates.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in application support, preferably in procurement or related systems.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial processes.
  • Ticketing Systems: Experience with ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Integration Tools: Familiarity with integration tools, such as Dell Boomi or MuleSoft, and ERP systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Certifications or training in procurement or related fields.
  • SQL Knowledge: Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or data analysis.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Knowledge of ITIL practices.
