The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Ad Revenue Specialist to support our advertising efforts. As a key member of our Ads team, you will be focused on advanced monetization strategies to bring our products to students. You will work closely with the yield and engineering teams to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth.
You'll Be Working On:
Supporting the yield and engineering team to accomplish business objectives
Designing and analyzing A/B tests to optimize ad setups
Owning feature development and integrations from start to finish
Sizing opportunities, testing, scaling, and checking performance at scale
Growing vendor partnerships by monitoring performance, opportunities, optimization, and programmatic strategy
Leveraging various data sources to identify performance trends and generate actionable insights and recommendations
Communicating initiative progress to leadership in a timely manner and identifying potential risks to timelines
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in programmatic advertising within the publisher space
Experience working with programmatic ad serving platforms (Google Ad Manager, OpenX, Xandr)
A holistic understanding of the digital advertising landscape (auction dynamics, bid requests, ad mediation)
Experience leading programmatic strategy, 1st party data management, audience segment creation, and high-impact formats
Excellent analytical skills and ability to make data-driven recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to properly communicate roadblocks, timelines, and important updates to the team
