Senior Backend Java Developer

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Java Developer to lead our software development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, implement, and maintain software applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Develop back-end services with Java, integrate APIs, ensure cross-platform optimization, and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Work in an Agile development environment and participate in industry forums to drive adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and solutions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in implementing software applications using Java & React Technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate or Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, RESTful APIs, databases such as SQL/PLSQL, and developer tools like IDEs, version control systems, build tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good understanding of various design patterns, object-oriented design principles, and knowledge of compute engine, cloud storage, and cloud functions is desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication skills, and proven experience of delivering results in matrixed organizations under pressure and tight timescales.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
