Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Java Backend Specialist with 7-11 years of experience in Application Support, particularly in Java, Jenkins, and Oracle Database Administration. The ideal candidate will support and maintain critical enterprise applications, ensuring stability, performance, and reliability.

You will work closely with multiple IT teams within the organization, utilizing tools such as Ansible, Liquibase, Jenkins, Checkmarx, NexusIQ, AppDynamics, and Splunk. Familiarity with Linux, Oracle, MQ, WMB, WAS, WLP, HTTPS, and security protocols is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for Java-based backend applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, integrating tools for code quality, security checks, and artifact management.
  • Perform end-to-end Oracle Database administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
  • Monitor application and database performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Support release management and ensure compliance with best practices and organizational standards.
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes, following ITIL or similar frameworks.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Engage in root cause analysis and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing timely updates and technical insights.
