Senior Snowflake Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our data strategy and design scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Matillion ETL and proven expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain.

Data Design and Development:
  • Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions.
  • Develop best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
Performance Tuning and Optimization:
  • Define and implement best practices for optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and data integrity.
Data Modeling:
  • Create data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
Data Pipelines:
  • Build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion ETL.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience with 6+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, secure data sharing, resource monitors, streams & tasks).
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development (or similar cloud-native ETL tools).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • CI/CD pipeline experience and Git integration for data workflows.
  • Familiarity with financial data models (customer 360, payments, credit/debit, claims, risk, fraud).
  • BFSI regulations and compliance experience in data handling and reporting.
  • Analytics delivery experience for fraud detection, credit risk scoring, AML/KYC.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to lead data discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SnowPro Advanced Architect certification.
  • Experience with Tableau/Power BI for reporting layer integration.
  • BFSI project experience in core banking, digital payments, wealth management analytics.
  • Data security experience in BFSI context.
