Database Architect Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Database Architect Specialist to join our organization. This key role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable database architectures that support AI-driven applications.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing and implementing database architectures using SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Optimizing database queries, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure high-performance databases.
  • Collaborating with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines to support AI/ML workflows.
  • Integrating databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems to enhance data exchange and analytics.
  • Monitoring database health, troubleshooting issues, and improving reliability to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL.
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB.
  • Knowledge of vector databases, ETL processes, and data modeling is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of cloud database services, including AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, and Azure SQL.
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Excellent Python and SQL scripting skills for automation and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with data warehouses, streaming data systems, AI/ML data pipelines, and DevOps for databases is highly valued.
