**Job Opportunity:** Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled data professional to design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable data solutions that drive business value.

  • Moderately complex projects and deliverables within technical domains
  • Contribute to large-scale planning of strategies and architectures
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to industry standards and best practices
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions
  • Resolve issues and lead teams to meet client needs while leveraging expertise in data engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement modernized technology roadmaps
  • Analyze technical requirements and develop software solutions
  • Actively contribute to building next-generation data platforms for commercial banking services, digital channels, and payment systems
  • Proactively manage risk through implementation of controls and escalate where required
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark, BigQuery, and Unix
  • Experience in banking/financial technology domain preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in global development environments
