Job Title: Data Governance ExpertThe role of a Data Governance Expert is to oversee and implement effective data governance practices across the organization. This involves designing frameworks, driving adoption, and ensuring trusted data for analytics, compliance, and AI initiatives.This high-visibility opportunity involves defining and scaling best practices, working with senior stakeholders, and influencing data culture across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and administer Collibra across the enterprise, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
  • Design and configure the Collibra Operating Model, including domains, assets, workflows, and roles.
  • Built and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer, streamlining business processes.
  • Integrate Collibra with various platforms via APIs/connectors, enhancing data exchange and collaboration.
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Establish frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management, promoting data transparency and trust.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting (Groovy, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data catalog, business glossary, and lineage in Collibra.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms: Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Informatica.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Collibra Ranger or Solution Architect certification strongly preferred.
