We are seeking an experienced Garment Merchant to oversee the end-to-end merchandising process, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and buyers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and internal teams.
  • Develop a strong understanding of buyer requirements and ensure timely approvals.
  • Manage Time and Action (TNA) calendars for each order.
  • Coordinate raw material sourcing, production schedules, and quality parameters.
  • Monitor order status, production progress, and delivery timelines to avoid delays.
  • Prepare costing sheets and negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers.
  • Manage buyer communications regarding order updates, changes, and queries.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on trends, pricing, and buyer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate merchandising records, reports, and documentation.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with ERP/MIS systems.
  • Knowledge of fabric types, trims, washes, and garment construction.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
