Role Summary:

A dedicated User Retention Specialist is sought to develop and execute effective strategies for reducing user churn and reactivating lapsed listeners.

This key role involves leveraging data-driven insights, creative marketing approaches, and hands-on campaign execution to prevent user disengagement and drive long-term growth.

  • Job Description:
  • Churn Prevention & Reactivation Strategy:
    • Data-Driven Insights: Collaborate with the data team to analyze predictive models and identify at-risk users, uncovering the root causes of dissatisfaction.
    • Creative Campaigns: Design and launch proactive, multi-channel campaigns to re-engage at-risk users before they cancel their subscription.
    • Analytics & Optimization: Measure campaign performance, test hypotheses, and refine strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • At-Risk User Intervention: Develop and execute targeted campaigns to prevent user churn and retain subscribers.
    • Lapsed User Reactivation: Architect and manage win-back campaigns to bring back churned subscribers, leveraging segmenting users based on past listening behavior and time since churn.

Requirements:

  • Focused Experience: 4-7 years in churn management, user reactivation, or save strategies within a B2C subscription or mobile app business.
  • Innovative Problem-Solver: Think creatively, challenge assumptions, and design industry-leading churn-mitigation strategies.
  • Campaign Execution: Proven experience building, launching, and optimizing campaigns using marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for independent analysis and experience with product analytics tools.
  • Experimenter's Mindset: Hypothesis-driven approach to A/B testing and result interpretation.
