About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished IT Security Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security posture of our organization.

Job Description
  • SIEM Tools: You should have process knowledge and technical expertise on SIEM tools like Qradar, LogRhythm, AlienVault, Splunk, etc. Having L2/L3 level skills is an added advantage.
  • AV Tools: Familiarity with AV tools such as Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, etc., along with L2/L3 level skills, will be beneficial.
  • Vulnerability Management: You should have knowledge in managing vulnerability tools and various remediation efforts.
  • Security Logs: Reviewing security logs generated by applications, devices, and other systems, taking necessary actions or escalating to relevant teams as required.
  • Incident Response: Ensuring incident response service level agreements are enforced.
  • Tool Recommendations: Collaborating with the global IT Security team to analyze, test, and recommend tools that strengthen our security posture.
  • Operational Reports: Creating and maintaining operational reports to enable the IT management team to understand the current and historical landscape of IT security risks.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation: Conducting vulnerability management assessments and remediation efforts.
  • Cybersecurity Meetings: Participating in daily and ad-hoc meetings related to cybersecurity, controls, compliance, processes, and documentation-related tasks.
  • IT Security Trends: Staying updated on the latest information technology (IT) security trends.
  • Security Planning: Helping plan and execute an organization's approach to handling security.
  • Security Standards: Developing security standards and best practices for the organization.
  • Recommendations: Recommending security enhancements to management or senior IT staff.
  • Security Breaches: Documenting security breaches and assessing their impact.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: B. Tech, B.E, or M.C.A degree.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience working in a Security Operations Center.
  • Computer Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the computer industry.
  • Complex Windows Environments: Knowledgeable about complex Windows environments.
  • Security Frameworks: Familiarity with various security frameworks such as NIST, ISO27001.
  • Design and Administration: Knowledge in design and administration of security tools.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills.
