Job Description:

A supply chain professional is sought to excel in the pharmaceutical industry.

The role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in managing supply chain operations and improving processes.

  • SOP Development & Process Compliance
    • Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure operational procedures meet audit standards.
  • Process Optimization & Project Management
    • Identify and execute projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization in procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
    • Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to address root causes and drive measurable improvements.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyse and report on core supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, OTIF, inventory turns, and supplier performance.
    • Build dashboards and advanced analytical reports using Excel, Power BI, or other relevant tools.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
    • Support procurement of APIs, excipients, and packaging materials, ensuring quality compliance and vendor performance.
    • Drive vendor evaluation, qualification, and timely material availability at the site.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Production, and Planning teams to ensure seamless batch scheduling and material flow.
    • Support audits with accurate documentation and supply chain evidence.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in pharmaceutical supply chain or similar regulated industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Technology/Pharmacy or Master's degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain Operations is a plus).
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong command of MS Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and analytics platforms (if any).
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
