About the Position

The role of an Invoicing Trainee involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations by handling invoices.

  • Invoice Preparation: Prepare and issue invoices to clients
  • Meeting Deadlines: Adhere to invoice delivery schedules
  • Portal Entry: Enter invoices into client billing systems
  • Electronic Submission: Submit invoices through electronic data interchange
  • Accuracy Check: Verify each field on the invoices before submission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation: Ensure all supporting documents are in place and attached to invoices
  • System Updates: Timely update invoice submission status in Navision
  • Log Maintenance: Maintain records of invoice submissions and customer billing processes
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the payroll & invoicing team to streamline the invoice submission process
  • Account Statements: Send out statements of accounts to clients.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile self-billed cases with client-approved timesheets, any discrepancies to be addressed and ensure AR hygiene
  • Rejections & Adjustments: Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebills
  • Process Documentation: Maintain SOP/standard guide for complete invoicing process account-wise and update it regularly

We're seeking candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience: Fresh graduates to a maximum of 1.5 years of relevant experience in invoicing.
  • Qualification: Commerce or finance background (B.Com/M.Com/BBA/MBA)
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Technical Skill: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table)
  • Other Skill: Good analytical & logical skill.
  • Accounts Knowledge: Good accounting knowledge.
