About System Reliability Engineering Role

We are seeking an experienced System Reliability Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) to enhance system resilience
  • Conduct Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and their impacts
  • Develop strategies to improve system fault tolerance and minimize downtime
  • Assess and maintain architectures using redundancy, load balancing, and automated failover
  • Experience with load testing and chaos testing tools is highly desirable
  • You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and effective issue resolution
  • Provide guidance on best practices for resiliency and reliability, helping to drive continuous improvement across the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Knowledge of SPOF and FMEA methodologies is essential
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on resiliency and chaos engineering
  • Proven expertise in designing and maintaining fault-tolerant architectures
  • Understanding of observability, tracing, and telemetry tools is highly valued
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
