Job Description

We're seeking an ambitious Data Engineer with a passion for Databricks to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you'll play a vital role in designing and implementing efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks.

  • Develop scalable and reliable data solutions by integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Implement data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment processes to ensure high-quality datasets.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready data products.
  • Maintain data quality, performance, and security across all workflows.
  • Automate workflows and optimize existing pipelines for maximum efficiency.
  • Document technical processes and procedures for seamless knowledge transfer.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks (including PySpark/Spark SQL).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and performance tuning techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) - preferably Azure Databricks.
  • Basic understanding of version control tools like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

We welcome candidates with experience in:

  • Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
  • Data governance and compliance requirements.
  • Workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
