SAP Embedded Analytics Associate Managing Consultant Job Description

As a SAP Embedded Analytics Associate Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design, development, and implementation of SAP Embedded Analytics solutions. This role involves overseeing projects, managing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs.

The SAP Embedded Analytics Associate Managing Consultant is responsible for providing strategic insights and driving continuous improvement in SAP Embedded Analytics processes and systems.

  • Establishing effective communication with clients to promote management consultancy services.
  • Understanding and defining client requirements, presenting clear and comprehensive written proposals, and engaging the client in selecting and owning optimal design options.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations, maintaining focus on overall deliverables, and agreeing and applying contractual terms of engagement.
  • Conveying ideas and thoughts in a clear, focused style using effective verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, in formal and informal situations.
  • Using presentation tools and techniques effectively to engage audiences.
  • Managing, developing, and appraising others, delegating where appropriate.
  • Understanding and engaging expertise of others alongside own, leveraging network effectively to research and define client issues, generate innovative solutions, and/or inform delivery solutions.
  • Selecting and using appropriate diagnostic tools, methods, and techniques, actively seeking out new and appropriate tools.
  • Capturing and building knowledge in defined processes, sharing knowledge and experiences with others, and applied knowledge, tools, and technical expertise to support value creation.
  • Managing client projects effectively, ensuring objectives, deadlines, and budgets are met by team members under own control.
  • Identifying, quantifying, and managing issues impacting on delivery of project.
  • Demonstrating a track record of successful delivery in a range of delivery roles in client engagements, ensuring quality of own deliverables and those of team, monitoring, and measuring client satisfaction.
  • Working with clients to determine a handover process to ensure skills transfer, sustainability of results, and knowledge capture as appropriate for project.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent 8-10 years of experience in one or more SAP modules is required. Additionally, at least four full life cycle SAP Embedded Analytics implementation is necessary.

  • Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
  • Exposure to other SAP modules and integration points.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S4/HANA Embedded Analytics.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP modules.
  • Proficiency in developing CDS views, AMDP with deep knowledge of SQL scripting and SAP HANA modeling.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and OData services.
  • Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, performance tuning, and data management techniques.
  • Familiarity with ABAP programming and SAP HANA SQL Script.
