Job Role: Workforce Management Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Management Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnership:
  • Analyzing business forecasts and translating them into actionable workforce strategies
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes that drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Developing and maintaining long-term, mid-term, and short-term capacity plans that meet the needs of our business
  • Workforce Planning & Forecasting:
  • Forecasting call volumes, workloads, FTE requirements, and staffing needs to ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Working with Talent Acquisition and Training teams to align hiring and onboarding plans with forecast demand
  • Scheduling & Optimization:
  • Designing efficient schedules that balance service delivery, employee preferences, and cost
  • Ensuring optimal utilization of workforce across different lines of business
  • Real-Time Management:
  • Overseeing intraday management, real-time monitoring, and SLA adherence
  • Driving corrective actions to maintain service levels, including overtime, cross-skilling, and load balancing
  • Ensuring smooth coordination with Operations during spikes and downtime
  • Analytics & Reporting:
  • Generating and presenting performance dashboards, staffing reports, and variance analysis
  • Providing actionable insights into workforce trends, attrition, absenteeism, and utilization
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Team Management:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of WFM analysts and real-time specialists
  • Building capability within the WFM team to handle complex modeling and analytics
  • Driving a culture of accuracy, timeliness, and business impact

What You'll Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of business acumen, technical skills, and leadership abilities. Here are some of the key qualifications we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce management, operations, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic workforce plans that drive business results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of WFM analysts and real-time specialists
