Network Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to join our team as a NOC Engineer specializing in IP-MPLS and MPLS-TP.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh engineering graduates with a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Information Technology to start their careers in the dynamic field of network operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of IP-MPLS and MPLS-TP networks.
    • Identify and troubleshoot network issues ensuring timely resolution.
    • Implement routine maintenance tasks and updates to optimize network performance.
  • Incident Response:
    • Respond to alerts and incidents promptly following established procedures.
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve network related incidents.
    • Document and report incident resolutions and post-incident analysis.
  • Configuration and Deployment:
    • Assist in the configuration installation and deployment of network equipment.
    • Ensure proper implementation of IP-MPLS and MPLS-TP protocols and standards.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to execute changes in the network infrastructure.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Analyze network traffic patterns and optimize network configurations for efficiency.
    • Implement QoS policies to ensure optimal performance for critical applications.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for network configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
    • Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles for common network issues.
  • Collaboration and Training:
    • Collaborate with other teams such as engineering security and customer support.
    • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols with a focus on IP-MPLS and MPLS-TP.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching technologies including OSPF BGP and MPLS.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
  • Basic understanding of security protocols and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
