Network Security Specialist Opportunity

At our organization, the Networks team oversees the entire life cycle of Wide Area Network, internet connections, network traffic management, (W)LAN, DNS/DHCP, and other aspects of connectivity for offices and partners. This role is crucial in supporting digital transformation and cloud services adoption.

Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze production network issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Work in a US time zone operational shift to provide necessary guidance to NOC personnel.
  • Own incident ticket resolution from start to finish, finding ways to resolve or provide technical workarounds.
  • Ensure timely provision of technical updates during incident management.
  • Engage OEMs and service providers to troubleshoot complex issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Escalate very complex network problems to L4 engineers for support.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve intricate network security issues.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications

You should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years of experience in network services and management in complex environments.
  • A deep understanding of network technologies like TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, Trunking, Port Channeling, VRF, IPsec, and TLS.
  • Proficiency in routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Route Policy, QoS, VRRP, Multicast, LDP, and MPLS.
