Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to play a critical role in monitoring and maintaining the integrity of IoT solutions.

This individual will be responsible for proactively detecting problems from a central location, analyzing issues, and performing troubleshooting and incident response on the system. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience with diagnostic tools, reading and interpreting logs, and ticket tracking best practices.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall system reliability. A strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including protocols, architectures, and security measures is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor alarms and proactively identify problems with Aeris application and infrastructure
  2. Take defined actions based on scripted methods of procedures
  3. Provide expertise in monitoring to department peers
  4. Escalate issues to next level and ensure problem resolution
  5. Document problems, impact, and resolution delivered by SMEs
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 2-5 years of experience in NOC or IT helpdesk environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees
