Lead Warehouse Coordinator

The Jhagadia Float Glass manufacturing unit is a strategic investment in western India, acquired in 2011.

Located in Central Gujarat, the plant covers 150 acres and produces 550 MT of clear glass per day, setting a high quality benchmark standard within India and globally. This achievement has been recognized through various accolades, including awards from CII and Emerald Awards for CO2 reduction.

The campus features an in-house Sand Beneficiation plant with a capacity to produce 600 tons of treated sand per day. Saint-Gobain has invested in value-added products such as Shower Cubicles business in Jhagadia to cater to Home and Hospitality business segments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finished Goods experience, particularly Warehouse and Dispatch at the end of the Manufacturing Process
  • Responsible for receipt from Float, Safety & 5S in warehouse Bays, Manage storage & Serviceability in the warehouse bays
  • Responsible for traceability and retrievability of material, bay audits and reporting, Inventory Management
  • Knowledge of Forklift operations and EOT, optimization of space, consumables, inventory management, warehouse activity, Cycle Audit, Material Storing, making inward and invoice, Location accuracies, Loading activity, Internal/External Customer interaction
  • Task orientation, Man power management, Emergency handling & Crisis management, Problem Solving attitude, Planning skills
Required Qualifications:
  • Diploma - Engineering (Any stream) with Good Academic record
  • 2-4 years experience
