About the Job

The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations at a manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Ideal candidates will have a background in machinery manufacturing or similar industries and must demonstrate career longevity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and productivity.
  2. Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet output targets on time and within budget.
  3. Lead, train, and supervise production staff across all facility departments.
  4. Conduct periodic inspections to monitor staff performance, machinery condition, and adherence to quality standards.
  5. Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal working condition and minimize downtime.
  6. Implement and monitor safety policies, ensuring compliance with all statutory and industry regulations.
  7. Coordinate with internal teams for raw material supply, logistics, and timely delivery of finished goods.
  8. Prepare and present regular production performance reports to senior management.
  9. Foster a positive, productive work environment and actively resolve operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years managerial experience in a factory setting; background in machinery, metal products, or similar manufacturing highly desired.
  • Demonstrable career stability and progression in past roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of production management, maintenance protocols, quality standards, and safety systems.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, production management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process optimization methodologies preferred.

Prior Experience:

A history of long-term employment and professional advancement in previous roles. Ability to mentor and build high-performing teams in a factory environment.
