Structural Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing structural design and engineering inputs for Social Infrastructure DPR projects.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Structural Engineer to work on various social infrastructure projects, including schools, hospitals, community centers, sanitation facilities, water supply structures, etc.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in structural engineering design for buildings and social infrastructure projects.
  • They will be proficient in structural design software, such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines is essential.
  • The selected candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and possess strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing structural design and engineering inputs for Social Infrastructure DPR projects.
  • Reviewing and finalizing structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
  • Carrying out structural analysis and ensuring compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.
  • Coordinating with architects, civil engineers, and other specialists to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Assessing foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects.
  • Preparing design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Conducting a review of DPR deliverables (draft and final reports) from a structural perspective.
  • Providing technical guidance to project teams and support capacity building.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Prior experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in both government and donor-funded assignments.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and disaster-resilient design practices.
