Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive financial professional to support project finance activities. This role will be responsible for managing project expenses, financial forecasting, invoicing, revenue tracking, and vendor payment processes while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts in alignment with business objectives.
  • Track expenses vs. actuals regularly and flag variances early with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize resource allocation.

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

  • Raise invoices for client projects and track receivables to ensure timely payments.
  • Manage vendor payments and software subscription payments using Zoho.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, work orders, and agreements for all projects.
  • Track billable vs. non-billable resources to ensure accurate project costing.

Forecasting & Projections:

  • Estimate future revenue and cost projections based on sales pipeline and current utilization.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare periodic reports on profitability and project financial health.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).
  • 4–7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or project finance.
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing, revenue recognition, and vendor payment processes.
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Projects or similar financial/project management tools.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel (financial modeling, projections, variance analysis).
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams.
