Job Profile:

  • We are seeking a qualified professional to oversee the development and implementation of STEM-based projects in our tinkering lab.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in electronics, mechanics, IoT, and robotics.
  • In addition, they should be able to provide guidance and support to students, fostering creativity and innovation.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating engaging curriculum, leading workshops, and promoting inquiry-based learning.
  • They will work closely with our team to develop and enforce safety guidelines, conduct training sessions, and maintain a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To implement and manage STEM-related projects in our tinkering lab.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to students, ensuring their safety and success.
  • Create engaging curriculum and lead workshops that promote creativity and innovation.
  • Mentor students and provide them with hands-on experience with various tools and technologies.
  • Develop and enforce safety guidelines, conduct training sessions, and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in electronics, mechanics, IoT, and robotics.
  • Able to explain complex concepts in accessible ways.
  • Strong understanding of design thinking and creative processes.
  • Knowledge of various materials used in disciplines like woodworking, coding with electronics materials, and Atal Tinkering Lab syllabus.
  • Pedagogical understanding of delivering the tinkering sessions.
  • Hands-on experience with various tools, college projects, and ATL Dashboard.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to tools and materials used in the tinkering lab.
  • Ability to inspire creativity and foster innovative thinking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and government school ecosystem understanding.
