Software Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to fill a key position in our organization.

Department: Financial Messaging - Product Development

Position Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: Bangalore - Hybrid Mode

Key Skills: Java, Spring/Springboot, Maven, PostgreSQL or MySQL, Micro-services, Message Broker (MQ), Docker & Kubernetes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
  • Contribute to retrospectives
  • Collaborate with colleagues and seek assistance when needed
  • Develop technical designs (conception, architecture, data model)
  • Maintain and develop the platform (coding)
  • Identify and resolve incidents.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in software development.
  • IT Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in computer science engineering
  • Strong understanding of SDLC phases, experience working with Agile methodology.
  • Multi-tier architecture, web-based development, and Services Oriented Architecture knowledge
  • Awareness of Non-Functional Requirements.
  • RESTful services expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly motivated team player with an aptitude for innovation and learning.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficient coding experience on backend technologies Java, especially Spring/SpringBoot framework, JPA.
  • Experience designing and developing relational databases (Postgres) and SQL.
  • Knowledge of containerized platforms working with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • CamelK experience would be advantageous.
  • OAuth2 experience would be beneficial.
  • Message Broker experience such as ActiveMQ would be helpful.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT network/banking environment would be an asset.
  • Open Banking knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Mastery in software engineering tools.
  • Behavior-driven development experience.
