Job Overview:

We are seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead the design and development of high-quality, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting solutions, leading a development team, and ensuring code quality and performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable solutions, creating technical documentation and delivery playbooks.
  • Provide accurate project estimations and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Maintain high coding standards, enforcing best practices and performance optimizations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Oversee feature development and bug fixes, ensuring no regressions are introduced.
  • Drive projects through the development lifecycle, from environments to production deployment.
  • Collaborate with onshore teams during PST office hours, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot (2.x), including best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Micro Frontend (MFE) and Backend for Frontend (BFF) architectures.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation using Jest and Playwright.
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Desirable Competencies:

  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
  • 2+ years of experience working with global teams.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility best practices.
