Job Title: Principal Systems Test Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Principal Systems Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing system requirements and coordinating system test concepts and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system requirements and work closely with management to coordinate system test concepts and objectives
  • Manage one or more System Test Personnel and drive their day-to-day activities
  • Work closely with software developers to create software test work products including test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports
  • Identify test resources and need dates
  • Prepare software test status reports and present status to management and customers
  • Perform procedure validations, software builds, and test administration
  • Trace system requirements from customer specifications to test cases
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the System Test Environment (STE)
  • Conduct integration and formal system tests
  • Maintain the test requirements database
  • Prepare presentation material and lead Test Readiness Reviews
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior test personnel
  • Develop and manage test budgets and schedules
  • Keep abreast of improvements in system test engineering techniques

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology (B Tech) or Master's in Computer Application (MCA) or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in manual Software Testing
  • Experience analyzing and testing complex engineering software
  • Experience in testing in embedded environment is a plus
  • Sound understanding of software development life-cycle
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio and other MS Office Applications
