Job Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background in software development and testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated testing, test frameworks, and agile methodologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs. They will design and execute comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated tests, to ensure high-quality software delivery.

In addition to their technical skills, the candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing comprehensive test plans
  • Developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Ensuring high-quality software delivery through thorough testing and quality assurance processes
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Maintaining and improving software testing tools and processes

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12+ years of industry experience in software development and/or testing
  • Proficiency with two or more programming languages (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, VBScript, C#, .NET, Perl, Python, Objective C)
  • 4+ years of experience in software/test framework design and architecture
  • Experience using BDD test tools frameworks like SpecFlow, Cucumber, or Gherkin
  • Experience developing automated tests for web, mobile, and cloud-based applications
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, SQL, Hadoop, XML/XSLT, JSON
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methods
