Job Opportunity

  • Solution Design: Develop software architecture for products, considering performance, power efficiency, and safety-critical requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align software architecture with hardware design and automotive standards.
  • Software Development: Lead the design and development of software components and modules for automotive SoC platforms.
  • Industry Standards: Implement software solutions in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize software performance for real-time constraints and resource efficiency.
  • Analysis and Enhancement: Conduct performance analysis and propose enhancements to meet automotive industry standards.
  • Intellectual Property: Support Intellectual Property activities and generate Invention Disclosure Memos to facilitate patent applications.
  • Design Reviews: Contribute to design reviews across algorithm teams.
  • Innovation and Research: Consider next generation algorithms and new business opportunities.
  • Embedded Systems: Develop algorithms with a view to implementing on embedded DSP platforms.
  • Representation: Represent at various Industry Working Groups and Conferences where directed.
  • Training and Development: Support the design and implementation of in-company training sessions in your area of expertise.
  • University Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationship with university counterparts.
  • Competency Improvement: Strive to improve competencies in the field of automotive vision based ADAS, Computer vision and C++ in particular.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and suggest/implement improvements within the current processes used in algorithm, development.
  • Research and Development: Perform state-of-the-art research into deep learning & Computer vision approaches and methodologies.
  • Computer Vision: Research, develop, benchmark, test and document state of the art computer vision and image processing algorithms for autonomous driving applications.
  • New Technology: Perform research into new vision technology, ideas, and approaches.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the software architecture meets safety and security standards relevant to automotive systems.
  • Safety Assessments: Collaborate with safety engineers to conduct risk assessments and develop safety-critical software components.

Key Requirements

  • Robustness and Standards: Secure product robustness, apply standards.
  • Engineering Discipline: Enforce engineering discipline solutions.
  • Link Management: Manage link with other Engineering disciplines / calling for hierarchical support if needed.
  • Know-How Capitalization: Capitalize know-how (standardization, specifications, technical reports, processes and guidelines).

Support Functions

  • Requirement Management: Provide inputs and requirements to Engineering discipline for development.
  • Customer Interface: Interface with customer for Engineering discipline architecture content.
  • System Requirements: Contribute to refine functions into right sub-systems (system - mechanical - software - hardware …).

Case of System Architect: Distribute and split functions per Engineering discipline.

  • Translation: Translate system requirements into Engineering disciplines requirements.
  • Function Definition: In collaboration with different competences (Engineering disciplines) define functions into right sub-systems (software).
  • Interoperability: Ensure inter-operability of all sub-systems.
