Immerse yourself in our investments division at Mercer, where you'll take on a dynamic role requiring at least three days of in-office work per week. As Lead Specialist - Investments, you will be part of the Investment Operations- Fund Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume lead specialist duties to support colleagues' day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Interact with external stakeholders including fund administrators, investment managers, and auditors.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Contribute to a new team by working closely with colleagues from other locations.

You will oversee financial statement reviews and fund reports, execute investor capital calls and distributions, participate in audits, and maintain accurate procedures.

Requirements:
  • Experience in funds or asset management within a leading organization (minimum 6 years) with expertise in core fund operations, including accounting, middle office, and transfer agency.
  • Practical knowledge of various asset classes such as securities, loans, derivatives, and pooled funds.
  • Background in private markets or private equity fund accounting.
  • Strong academic foundation in accounting, finance, or economics essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to convey complex information simply and coherently.
