As a seasoned professional, you have the opportunity to lead a high-performing team within a dynamic and evolving financial services environment. Your primary role will be to oversee all closed-ended fund accounting operations, working closely with Fund Administrators, Relationship Managers, and Operations Heads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee fund administrators and team members to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of fund accounting services.
  • Manage a variety of funds, including Private Equity Credit Funds.
  • Handle complex P&L allocations across multiple entities within fund structures.
  • Assist teams in performing waterfall calculations and ensuring their accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and checklists.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to team members.
  • Oversee task allocation and delegation to ensure optimal team efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within fund accounting operations.
  • Manage team capacity to support new business growth.
  • Act as a primary escalation point for client inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external counterparts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics (or international equivalent).
  • 10+ years of experience in fund accounting, with at least 6+ years in Private Credit Funds Accounting.
  • Experience specifically in Private Credit Funds.
  • Experience with Credit Fund Structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Cash Reconciliation, Expense Reimbursement, and Loan Accounting.
  • Exposure to loan lifecycle, covenant tracking, and loan settlements.
  • Knowledge of NAV computation for Credit Funds and performance reporting.
  • Ability to prepare SOPs and identify process improvement opportunities.
