Credit Control Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Credit Control Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, minimizing bad debts, and maintaining healthy cash flow.
Key Responsibilities- Credit Policy Development: Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures to mitigate risks and optimize cash flow.
- Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate customer creditworthiness through financial analysis and risk assessments to inform credit decisions.
- Debt Collection: Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely debt collection, reviewing and reconciling customer accounts regularly.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the collections team to follow up on outstanding invoices, resolving disputes and escalating problematic cases.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on receivables, aging, DSO, bad debt provisions, and collection efficiency to inform business decisions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Customer Service teams to resolve credit issues and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to company credit policies and regulatory requirements, supporting internal and external audit processes.
