Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented engineer to join our team as a Proposal Specialist. This role is responsible for preparing and evaluating technical documents for project bidding processes, leading core teams to evaluate customer requirements, and performing site visits to collect information and utility/facility constraints.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate technical documents for project bidding processes, including technical offers, system architectures, bills of materials, basic designs, calculations, and commercial offers.
  • Organize bid initiation and review meetings, ensuring that clarifications are raised in a timely manner to facilitate better clarity on bid submission.
  • Lead core teams to evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to requests for quotes (RFQs) from current and potential customers.
  • Perform site visits to collect information and address commercial and technical meetings with prospective clients.
  • Monitor progress and prepare weekly reports on the status of each project.
  • Coordinate with customers, management, material vendors, subcontractors, and company staff to manage project activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Basic electrical and control knowledge, with experience in estimating DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC, and other control panels.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and select switchgear according to motor load lists, with knowledge of current load calculations and bus bar selection.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel, with the ability to prepare general arrangement drawings.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with Honeywell systems.
